I had wanted to go to a closer chippy but it was closed so ended up here. The cod and chips were very good, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly. My only “complaint” is I asked for extra salt and vinegar on my meal and when I got back to the hotel there wasn’t enough for my liking! Is that really a complaint! LOL I would eat here again or recommend it.

You can ring up order and go and collect or just walk in and order. They only accept cash, No Card so I go to the cash machine on the way. Quality food. Albeit chips or noodles! I have the wings, ribs, rice dishes, noodle dishes - chicken/beef and Prawn dishes. Never been disappointed! The price and portion size is 10/10 Recommendations? Salt and Pepper chips! And the Chowmein!

always friendly, i dont visit often but he still recognises me! 7 Yr later: Food still good, but a word of warning. With the new apartments in the area, and revamped pavements and added cycle lanes, there is virtually no parking anywhere nearby any more, and the traffic wardens obviously know this. Just got a ticket, at 10pm down a side road, because I chanced parking for 10 mins on the end of a line but on yellows. Fair dues, but in future I'll end up going elsewhere for my food.
